Acclaimed Icelandic band Sigur Ros are set to make history by becoming the first group to ever take over the front page of Youtube.
Sigur Ros will choose 10 videos to be shown on the front page of the site, one of the most visited on the internet. The band recently released their tour movie “Heima”, and invited fans to create their own movie entitled “Minn Heima”. The best ten entries will be placed on the front page of the site today (March 7th).
As well as these smaller films, the full version of “Heima’ will also be streamed in its entirety.
Sigur Ros are set to take over Youtube on Friday, March 7th.
