Shura will release her new album 'forevher' later this year.
The songwriter's emphatic debut album made a huge impact on its release, with her other-worldly 80s tinged pop bowling over fans.
Set to play Glastonbury this summer, Shura will follow this with a brand new album. 'forevher' will be released on August 16th, it's led by lustrous new single 'religion (u can lay your hands on me)'.
Whispered vocal set against synth-led production that recalls Cameo or even Prince, it's a firm marker for a record Shura labels “a soul record, sung by someone who doesn’t have a traditional soul voice. And I quite enjoy the antagonism of that.”
Check out 'religion (u can lay your hands on me)' below.
