Show Me The Body Share Explosive New Single ‘Loose Talk’

A grinding, intense offering...

Hardcore trio Show Me The Body are back; Following on from 2021 EP ‘Survive’, new single ‘Loose Talk’ is a sludge-tinted rumble of fury. The tormented track touches on themes of lost youth, police injustice and the fight for love and respect – and it’s definitely powerful.

‘Loose Talk’ is haunting. Moving from its gentle, reflective banjo opening into a crescendo of pained howls, there’s no denying that this track is fuelled by emotion. Julian Pratt’s vocal performance is raw, maddening as the instrumentals increase in magnitude.

The single serves as a reminder of how powerful Show Me The Body are able to be even in their slower, more creeping tracks. The black and white visuals further add to the track’s slowly increasing rage, the Pratt-directed video an anxiety-inducing slow motion journey through a house party.

The track comes as the first tune dropped following the first ever Corpus festival, IN BROAD
DAYLIGHT
. The Corpus collective aims to encourage collaboration between brilliant up-and-coming artists (previously working with Princess Nokia, Denzel Curry and Eartheater to name a few), so the festival is only set to allow the collaborative flame to burn even brighter.

Alongside their Corpus work, the trio are also set for an LA date this Saturday, as well as an upcoming Half-A-USA tour. They say the devil works hard – but we’d say Show Me The Body work that little bit harder.

Tune in now.
