Shabazz Palaces will release new mini-album ‘Robed In Rareness’ on October 27th.
The avant-rap project have a singular catalogue, and another chapter lands later this year. Out in Autumn, the new mini-album is the project’s first since their acclaimed 2020 project ‘The Don Of Diamond Dreams’.
Released on October 27th, ‘Robed In Rareness’ is succinct yet boasts some glittering guests, including Seattle’s Royce The Choice and Porter Ray; Colorado Springs’ O Finess; The Bronx’s Geechi Suede, of Camp Lo; and Butler’s twin Lavarr the Starr, and son, Lil Tracy.
Out now, new single ‘Binoculars’ features Royce the Choice, with Jacob Kasar handling the visuals. The track intones: “All I wanna do is see the girls get a chance. All I wanna do is see the bros getting bands.”
