It's out on February 16th...

serpentwithfeet will release new album ‘GRIP’ on February 16th.

The left-field voice fuses R&B with adventurous new sonics, sculpting a vivid, unique sound in the process. Second album ‘Deacon’ landed in 2021, an outstanding project that ranked among the year’s finest releases.

New album ‘GRIP’ expands his story. Out on February 16th via Secretly Canadian, it comes as serpentwithfeet’s theatre production Heart Of Brick draws to a close.

Out now, new single ‘Damn Gloves’ leads the way. A celebration of queer joy, it carries a deeply physical impact; expanding outwards, serpentwithfeet draws on a feature from Ty Dolla $ign, and South African artist Yanga YaYa.

A testament to the spirit and intoxicating magic of Black queer nightlife, the alluring video was directed by Micaiah Carter.

Of the song, serpentwithfeet comments: “I didn’t wanna waste this chance to celebrate my waist in his hands.”

Tune in now.
