Sega Bodega has shared details of new project 'self*care'.
The producer has spent the 12 months in collaborative mode, working on releases with the likes of Quay Dash, Brooke Candy, oklou and Shygirl.
Alongside this, though, Sega Bodega has been building a new solo outlet, with his 'self*care' EP set to drop shortly.
A multi-disciplinary project, it finds the producer re-casting his experimental whims within the nexus of pop – so expect de-constructed R&B tropes, hyper-glossy elements, and more.
New cut 'kisses 2 my phone' is online now, the heavily treated vocals transplanting D'Angelo to a surreal alternative dimension, one dominated by fluctuating synths dappled in dazzling fluorescence.
An imposing opening gambit, it comes backed by that eye-catching press shot – taken by Hannah Diamond, the PC Music artist has contributed to the project's visual dynamic.
Tune in now.
