Sebadoh have unveiled new track 'I Will' alongside a handful of UK shows.
Sebadoh were always a much loved phenomenon. Whereas other contemporaries found commercial success, maybe even the odd crossover hit or two, Lou Barlow & Co. were content with ploughing their own furrow, with patiently carving their own niche.
Essentially on hiatus for almost fifteen years, new album 'Defend Yourself' is set to be a Very Special Thing Indeed. Out on September 16th, album track 'I Will' recently emerged online and it's a wonderfully intimate piece of songwriting.
While the lo-fi days of yore have largely passed the production is far from lavish – you can practically hear each plectrum smack the strings, each mic wobble in its stand.
