'Defend Yourself' is set to be released on September 16th

Sebadoh are set to release new album 'Defend Yourself' on September 16th.

With Dinosaur Jr enjoying a creative resurgence, it's important to remember that Lou Barlow has penned a fair few alt rock hymns in his time. Leading Sebadoh on a decade long merry chase across the indie rock landscape, the outfit succumbed to time and pressure at the turn of the Millennium.

Returning last year, the band have completed work on their first self-recorded album since 1994's 'Bakesale'.

New full length 'Defend Yourself' will be released on September 16th, with Domino stepping in to provide safe haven.

Alongside this, Sebadoh have released the new 'Secret EP' online. Aptly titled, the five track document is exactly what you would expect from a Sebadoh release: confusing, confounding and extremely intimate, it feels like the band intend to pick up exactly where they left off.

Listen to it HERE.

1. Keep The Boy Alive
2. My Drugs
3. Arbitrary High
4. I Don't Mind
5. All Kinds 'Defend Yourself' is set to be released on September 16th.

The 'Secret EP' will be given a full release by Domino next week (June 10th).
