Revered producer Seb Wildblood has shared new cut ‘it’s sky time’.
The electronic figure is often associated with the more left-field aspects of house music, stretching the deep house template until breaking point. In reality, this covers only one aspect of his work, which draws on different aspects of club culture, and other forms of digital composition.
New album ‘Separation Anxiety’ is out on September 13th, with Seb Wildblood sharing a number of previews. The latest to emerge, ‘it’s sky time’ is hugely atmospheric, the producer distilling a quality of stillness into his work.
A rumination on time and its passing, ‘it’s sky time’ remains tethered to the physical aspects of club culture, and the way those spaces utilise sound. As ever, though, there’s also a painterly aspect to his work, one that allows Seb Wildblood to stand out from the pack.
