Bizarre Californian folk talent Sea Wolf is set to paddle over to the UK after announcing a release date for his debut album and a British tour.
Following a recent, highly successful US tour with Silversun Pickups, the folky quintet Sea Wolf are ready to make their debut performance in the UK this July. The band’s orchestral pop has already won them plaudits on both sides of the Atlantic, with Sea Wolf becoming fixtures of late night radio.
Led by Alex Brown Church – who takes his name from a Jack London novel – Sea Wolf play bizarre music drenched in folk tales of the past. Growing from their roots in the hometaping scene, the band have now become a fully fledged cult phenomenon.
Debut album “Leaves In The River” is due for release in the UK on July 28th through Dangerbird Records, with Sea Wolf set to play the following UK tour dates:
July 2nd – Manchester, The Roadhouse (with The Whigs)
July 3rd – London, 100 Club (with The Whigs)
July 4th – Wireless Festival (with Morrissey)
