Scuba Returns To Basics On ‘Digital Underground’

A salute to his formative rave influences...

Scuba has laid out plans for new mixtape ‘Digital Underground’.

The producer remains at the forefront of club culture, with his catalogue moving from bass abstraction to left-field house via heads-down techno chuggers. A continual inspiration, Scuba now returns to his roots on this latest project.

Out on November 12th, ‘Digital Underground’ is a homage to the sounds that first inspired him, a 12-track journey into the DNA of electronic music in the UK and beyond. So, expect a project that flits between acid house and hardcore, techno and breaks, with more than a subtle hint of early 2-step, as well.

New track ‘Tru Love’ is out now, and it’s straight fire from the off – Scuba seems to hit ignite on his box of production fireworks, the resulting explosion of colour melting together formative rave influences into one seamless whole.

Tune in now.
