Band Expand, Announce Tour

I Was A Cub Scout have been extremely busy boys, gaining a few extra members, recording a cover of The Cure and announcing a UK tour – phew!

The Lincolnshire synth straddlers were originally a two-piece before adding James of Rolo Tomassi and Sam Hudson of Youth Movies to their live line up. The band also recently recorded a cover of The Cure’s classic single “Close To Me” – available to download free from the Good Weather For Airstrikes blog.

I Was A Cub Scout are also set to release a new single, titled “The Hunter’s Daughter” on June 9th, backed by new track “Worker Bees”. The band are set to commence a UK tour, playing the following dates:

May 30th – Liverpool, Korova
June 3rd – Cambridge, Barfly
June 4th – Leicester, Charlotte
June 5th – London, Dingwalls
June 6th – Sheffield, Plug
June 7th – Nottingham, Rescue Rooms
June 8th – Manchester, Academy 3
June 9th – Leeds, Cockpit
June 10th – Barfly, Brighton
June 11th – Portsmouth, Wedgewood Rooms
