Glasgow's own Murdo Mitchell returns with new single 'Hollow'.
The newcomer has gone from busking on the streets to playing packed out festival tents, garnering a huge following through good old fashioned word of mouth.
Each show takes him closer to his goal, and even Glasgow born legend Donovan is impressed, citing his "hunger to communicate".
A full EP is incoming, with new single 'Hollow' arriving online to charm fans. Succinct and to the point, nothing is wasted on this finely honed slice of indie-folk leaning songwriting building to that instantly-addictive chorus.
Dubbing the song his "favourite track from the EP", Murdo Mitchell takes time to single out its honesty.
He says: "I got to a place when writing this track – it just came together incredibly fast. Sometimes you battle with a song to get it finished you revisit and change and revisit and change, however some songs just happen, this one just happened."
"I also unlock the place where I was when I wrote this song, when I perform it live and for a song to keep its meaning is special. I hope that when people listen to it they can unlock something special."
Tune in now.
