Say Lou Lou Share ‘Blue Ruin’ Short Film

New album 'Dust' is out now...

Say Lou Lou have shared a new short film, titled ‘Blue Ruin’.

The sisterly duo made their long-awaited return this Autumn, sharing new album ‘Dust’ to huge acclaim.

Effervescent pop with a real sense of depth, Say Lou Lou challenged themselves on the record, pushing their music into fresh areas.

Taken from the album, ‘Blue Ruin’ is a potent highlight, and this new short film offers a different, highly cinematic take on the song’s narrative.

Out now, the ‘Blue Ruin’ short film was directed by Say Lou Lou themselves, and boasts a slew of close friends and key collaborators.

Say Lou Lou comment…

‘Blue Ruin’ tells the story of a messy breakup that takes a couple on a dramatic, and sometimes ridiculous, journey through her fears of ostracism and gossip and his jealous fantasies. We wanted to frivolously play with the concept of fragile and heartbroken minds letting their imagination run too wild. The film loosely follows the narrative of our song ‘Blue Ruin’, and is an homage to early 2000’s indie film making.

Tune in now.
