Sarcoline have shared their latest single, ‘Mountain Blue’.
A gritty offering from start to finish, the Stoke-On-Trent outfit steps up with big, bold instrumentation. Navigating between distorted melodies and epic vocal performances, the band are bringing a fresh energy to rock ‘n’ roll, adopting a rebellious, hard-hitting approach to their craft.
Made up of vocalist and guitarist Joe Campbell, Will Carter, bass player Kev McDonald and drummer Ryan Roberts, Sarcoline capture a fresh nostalgia through their sound. Drawing influence from the likes of Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys and Kings of Leon, the band pay close attention to detail in their songwriting, pouring personal anecdotes and unfiltered emotion into their work.
Looking towards the months ahead, Sarcoline continue to focus on their riff-heavy sonics, showcasing their material to new crowds. Arriving alongside grunge-tinged visuals, ‘Mountain Blue’ marks a turning point in the band’s journey.
Speaking on the tracks’s early beginnings, Campbell remarks: “It started with myself in my bedroom messing around with some bass lines and coming up with what became the main hook in this track. I then recorded that and began to experiment with a guitar riff, always wanted to capture the moodiness and make it quite haunting.”
Tune in now.
