Sarah Kinsley Announces Debut Album ‘Escaper’

And a beautiful new preview is online now...

Sarah Kinsley is set to release her debut album ‘Escaper’ September 6th.

The songwriter caught attention with the intense creativity of her opening EPs, blending open, honest lyricism with some gorgeous melodic moments. Taking care of every aspect of her work, this sense of control made her music all the more impactful.

Eagerly awaited debut album ‘Escaper’ is out on September 6th, and it finds Sarah Kinsley reaching new heights of expression by inviting other voices into her world.

The record was produced alongside John Congleton, a revered studio figure who has worked alongside Angel Olsen, St. Vincent, and Sharon Van Etten, amongst others.

Learning to let go of the reins a little, Sarah Kinsley has found the construction of her debut to be a process of maturation. She reflects…

One realisation you have eventually as an insular, more introspective person is that there’s a world outside of yourself waiting for you to look into it. I had made every single EP from scratch, in the sweetness of my apartment… This record was meant to be grand and unstoppable. A beginning descent into freefall. Why protect that feeling in solitude? Why not invite another into that journey?

Beautiful new song ‘Last Time We Never Meet Again’ is out now – careful and assured, it affords Sarah Kinsley space to blossom.

Tune in now.
