Santigold have unveiled the artwork for her forthcoming second album ‘Master Of My Make-Believe’.
Last time Santigold checked in, the Brooklyn singer was close to finalising the artwork for her second album. ‘Master Of My Make-Believe’ needed a suitably glamorous, grandiose portrait – and it seems the singer has finally made up her mind.
Officially released today, T Magazine were granted a sneak peak yesterday. Photographer Jason Schmidt is responsible for the image, which features Santigold shot as three distinct characters:
– Santigold as a Mafia don
– Santigold as two assistants who wear specially designed gold Alexander Wang body suits
– Santigold painted as an army officer by Kehinde Wiley
