Seattle-based producer Sango unveils his first release of 2024, ‘Show’, featuring Toronto vocalist Rochelle Jordan.
The new single, lifted from forthcoming album, ‘North Vol. 2’, sees the producer pivot from his recent borderless, Brazilian funk amalgams to a moonlit future RnB cut. ‘North Vol.2’ is a call back and homage to Sango’s debut full-length ‘North’, charting his evolution from a core member of the Los Angeles collective Soulection to an in-demand beatmaker collaborating with the likes of Tinashe, Bryson Tiller and Masego, who featured on last year’s ‘Masego’s Interlude‘.
Sango has quietly amassed an impressive catalog spanning myriad electronic styles. From the baile funk of his celebrated Da Rocinha series to the tempered soul of his 2018 album ‘In The Comfort Of’, and the sonically sprawling tech experiment ‘Great Lakes Influence‘.
