It's safe to say that Samuel hasn't had it easy.
Born in Ireland, he was brought up in gypsy camps and children's homes, even spending time on the streets as his situation became more and more desperate.
Plunging his feelings into music, things began to improve – a scholarship to Goldsmiths in London followed, affording him space to chase his dreams.
Drawn to electronic arrangements, Samuel began re-casting his lovelorn soul visions within a club culture framework.
New EP 'LUV CRY' is the result. Out on June 10th via Ninja Tune, it features guest production from Kwes, Ozkharp, and Lockah.
