Samm Henshaw Links With Kirby On ‘Fade’

The South London continues his retro-stylized output...

London singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Samm Henshaw has today shared his new single, ‘Fade’, featuring Memphis artist Kirby.

Following the release of ‘Troubled Ones‘ and a collaboration with BEKA, ‘If It’s Not With You‘, ‘Fade’ is the result of Henshaw recalibrating his artistry away from the glare of the spotlight. The transatlantic duet sees Henshaw interplay with the “Granddaughter of Soul”, Tennessee-raised singer Kirby. Over a rootsy, psychedelic soul instrumental, Henshaw and Kirby vocalise “the repercussions of not confronting underlying issues and clinging to what no longer nurtures you.”

In 2022, Henshaw released his debut album, ‘Untidy Soul’, a confluence of old-school soul, 90s hip-hop, bluesy jazz and gospel.”
