Sam Smith claims not to have heard Radiohead's proposed 'Spectre' theme.
The English singer of course performed the final, official theme for the James Bond film, with his single 'Writing's On The Wall' becoming a hit.
Scooping a Golden Globe, Sam Smith then held court with press afterwards. Asked if he'd heard Radiohead's rejected theme – released online on Christmas Day – he seemed to become confused.
As Variety points out, Sam appeared to forget who Thom Yorke was before adding – with some bite in his voice – "not going to lie, a little bit surprised, but I haven't listened to it personally because I did the Spectre theme song."
Check it out, Sam, it's a banger! Watch the press Q&A below.
