salute Embraces His UKG Roots On ‘Feel The Same’

It's taken from his new 'Condition III' mixtape...

Austrian-English producer salute channels his UK garage influences on new single 'Feel The Same'.

The producer regularly plays vintage UKG tracks out, with his sets leaning on this formative years at London clubs.

With the sun shining and UKG itself enjoying something of a ripple of energy, he says "it only felt right to try and make something in that vein."

New mixtape 'Condition III' drops on August 16th, with salute now sharing his UKG burner.

'Feel The Same' is online now, and it channels that '99 energy, that sense of endless hope that runs through the infectious ambition of first wave garage.

That said, there's a slightly harder, bittersweet element to salute's production, with the producer citing everyone from Wiley and Dizzee Rascal through to Conducta and Mind Of A Dragon as influences.

Speaking to Noisey, he commented: “I took a lot of inspiration from the incredible new wave of UKG producers across the country making some of the most ground-breaking electronic music I've heard in a while – big love to them".

Tune in now.

'Condition III' is out on August 16th.
