salute Announces New Album ‘TRUE MAGIC’

It's out on July 12th...

salute has unveiled details of his new album ‘TRUE MAGIC’.

The London/Vienna artist is a real all-rounder, someone who takes fastidious care of each aspect of his music. Signing to independent powerhouse Ninja Tune, salute has laid out details for a new, collaboration-heavy, album.

Out on July 12th, the record features a glittering cast, including club luminaries, left-field soul gurus, and the odd alt-pop powerhouse, too. Laying out his plans, salute has secured guest spots from DisclosureEmpress OfKarma KidSam GellaitrypiriLéa SenLEILAH and Nakamura Minami

“I took a pop approach to the record,” says salute. “I went in quite blindly just with some loops and ideas but there’s much more of a focus on songwriting and collaboration on this album. In dance music there always seems to be this focus on doing everything yourself but I wanted to get a team around me to develop the ideas I had. One thing I’m really proud of is how organic the work with the collaborators is. I’ve managed to get such a breadth of amazing people on the record.”

New single ‘saving flowers’ is a radiant piece of future-facing electronic pop, combining salute’s incredible world-building finesse with vocals from award-winning, genre-shattering aesthete Rina Sawayama.

Tune in now.
