The Cribs singer Ryan Jarman has covered the new single by his girlfriend Kate Nash.
Ah, young love! With Spring well and truly in the air (along with volcanic ash, but that’s another story) ClashMusic has decided to shed some light on a modern day love affair.
He is the lead singer with The Cribs, a hot young combo from Yorkshire. With their new album ‘Ignore The Ignorant’ boasting the talents of former Smiths axeman Johnny Marr things couldn’t get better for Ryan Jarman.
She is a returning songwriter from London. Kate Nash sold bucketloads of her debut album ‘Made Of Bricks’ with the pressure well and truly on for her second effort.
To relieve the anxiety somewhat Ryan Jarman has stepped in to offer his sweetheart some help. The Cribs singer has covered the new Kate Nash single ‘Do Wah Doo’ adding his version of the B-side.

Meanwhile, Kate Nash is building up to the release of her second album with a free show at HMV’s flagship store on Oxford Street. The London event kicks off on Monday (April 19th) at 5pm and will feature the singer performing tracks from her new album.
