American troubadour turned author Ryan Adams has married his girlfriend Mandy Moore in a secret ceremony.
Adams had been dating the actress and singer for just over a year, with the pair only getting engaged last month. However, it seems Adams is not one to hang around with the pair tying the knot in Savannah, GA.
In a previous statement, Mandy Moore said the pair hoped for a quiet ceremony. “Hopefully, it can happen and slip by unnoticed by everybody. I guess we have to be sort of sneaky about it, but I’ll see what I can accomplish,” she said according to usmagazine.com.
In an interview with Marie Claire, Moore praised her then fiancee. The actress said she is “in awe of him – his brain, his passion. He’s truly one of a kind.”
Ryan Adams has recently foregone music for writing. His first book ‘Infinity Blues’ is due to be released soon, and it is said to be a desolate mixture of poetry and prose.
The author has the follow up ready for release – titled ‘Hello Sunshine’ it is said to follow the same format as its predecessor but with a slightly more uplifting feel.
Ryan Adams’ books are due to be released later this year.
