Ryan Adams is streaming a new clip featuring a fake video countdown show called ‘Night Sweats’.
Ryan Adams is a contrary character. Returning with his new album ‘Ashes & Fire’ the singer seemed to be in a deeply introspective mood. Catching up with the American troubadour earlier this year, Adams exposed the elegiac nature underpinning much of his new material.
A soft, tender return ‘Ashes & Fire’ sits in the lineage inspired by ‘Heartbreaker’. So how come he’s larking around in his new video?
ClashMusic have no idea, but it sure is funny. Indulging his retro metal fetish, Ryan Adams has shot a spoof video countdown called ‘Night Sweats’ which is a salute to the rock bands he grew up on.
Following the release of ‘Orion’ last year, the new video was apparently released as a treat for Halloween. Watch it below…
