It began as a joke but ended up as one of 2015's most enduring internet memes – when Run The Jewels promised to make a remix album using cat noises, they could scarcely have believed what would follow.
But it's finally here. 'Meow The Jewels' was released last night (September 27th) and features remixes from Just Blaze, Portishead's Geoff Barrow, Blood Diamonds, Boots, Zola Jesus, the Alchemist, Massive Attack's 3D and plenty more.
El-P and Killer Mike penned a note to fans: "Run the Jewels would like to thank our friends, fans and fam who made this record possible together we have managed to do a little good using the stupidest method possible and for that we salute you."
