Rozi Plain Announces New Album ‘PRIZE’

New single 'Agreeing For Two' is online now...

Rozi Plain will release new album ‘PRIZE’ on January 13th.

The songwriter’s new album pushes her work in different directions, with sessions moving from London to the Isle of Eigg, off the Scottish coast.

Out on January 13th through Memphis Industries, Rozi will preview her new songs with an intimate show at London’s Third Man Records tomorrow night (September 14th).

New song ‘Agreeing For Two’ is out now, featuring Bon Iver sampled maverick Alabaster dePlume on saxophone, with long-time friend and collaborator Kate Stables of This Is The Kit on backing vocals.

Rozi says of ‘Agreeing for Two’:

“This song was started when I spent a week on the Isle of Eigg writing new music. Mainly it’s thinking about how easy it can be to unknowingly make decisions on behalf of other people, thinking you might know what’s best or right for a situation where as maybe it’s just what was easiest for you… I love the saxophone line that Alabaster Deplume added – brings a bit of his trademark heart and hopefulness.”

Tune in now.
