Rosie Lowe’s ‘Mood To Make Love’ Thrives On Subtlety

English songwriter Rosie Lowe has shared beautiful new song ‘Mood To Make Love’.

The Devon-raised artist has built an immaculate catalogue, infusing neo-soul with some daring, complex, and often defiantly-British ideas. 2021’s ‘Now, You Now’ was an excellent collection of self-produced vignettes, while ‘Son’ saw Rosie Lowe collaborate with Duval Timothy.

‘Mood To Make Love’ opens a new chapter, a frosted piece of future-soul that feels delicate to the touch. Wonderfully engrossing, Rosie Lowe’s painterly touch neatly frames the melody, while the gossamer arrangement has an opaque quality.

Roșie Lowe comments…

“‘Mood To Make Love’ was written on a warm evening in Spain and we wanted it to sound like our surroundings. It is a moment of self love and an acknowledgement of what I have to offer my partner.”

The video for ‘Mood To Make Love’ was directed by Rosie’s brother, Louis Hemming-Lowe – tune in now.
