Rok Ali and The Addiction’s ‘Pulse’ Is a Bold Return

The gritty outfit are taking one step further...

Rok Ali and The Addiction are marking their return with brand new single, ‘Pulse’.

A deep and gritty offering from the rock ’n roll outfit, the track savours each riff and melody with a downtempo production. Throughout, Alison Krebs delivers a menacing performance, embellishing her vocals with distortion, tension and flair. Complimented by the more twisted, grunge aesthetics of the record, Rok Ali and The Addiction now turn towards heavier acoustics, resonant drum hits and haunting lyricism.

Formed by Alison, guitarist Chris Nix, bass player Lee Beverly and drummer Kevin Murphy, the group tap into their broad life experiences. Whether that be the strengths of creative relationships or the lows of addiction, they maintain a genuine and instinctive approach to their craft. Having shared studio sessions with the likes of Jo Dee Messina, Billy Ray Cyrus, Tonic and Eddie Money, collectively they bring a unique quality to their recordings, one that spills across their self-titled debut album.

Speaking on their latest release, Ali shares: This song is an invitation to explore the mystery deep within.”
