Rok Ali and The Addiction are bouncing back with their latest single, ‘You Want’.
A momentous offering from start to finish, the track showcases some of the heavy rock collective’s finest instrumentation. Piecing together Chris Nix’s full-throttle riffs with Kevin Murphy’s magnetic drum patterns, the outfit steams ahead with a 90s-tinged flair. At the record’s forefront is Alison Krebs, fleshing out their sound with her magnetic vocals, carrying an air of menace across every note.
As individuals, the band have worked alongside a broad pool of artists, from the likes of Billy Ray Cyrus and Eddie Money to Korn’s very own Jonathan Davis. In turn, Rock Ali and The Addiction develop their identity through multiple different perspectives, pushing for the resurgence of rock ’n roll once more. As they follow up the success of 2023’s single ‘Ponder This’, the band now lean into a more heavy-weight production, cutting through to a new crowd.
