Irish vocalist Róisín O has shared her new video ‘Night Stretches Through’ in full.
The songwriter’s new album ‘Courageous’ is testimony to her dogged determination, a supremely gifted all-rounder who seems to view music from countless different angles.

“I’ve been following Dermot Lynskey online for a while now and was so excited when he said he wanted to do the video for ‘Night Stretches Through’. His animation style is so unique and I felt he really brought alive the narrative of the song; seeing someone you love with someone else and trying to get past that.”
Speaking about the video, director Dermot Lynskey says: “When creating the visuals for this video I was inspired to lean into a slightly retro concept, which I felt suited the song and its themes. We encourage the viewer to consider where the line is drawn between our memories and reality. Soft lighting and a vibrant colour palette give the indoor shots a dreamlike quality, juxtaposed then with the bright, natural light of the world outside.”
