Rod Stewart has launched his own blended whisky.
The rock ‘n’ roll hellraiser and all round music legend has long been an advocate of Scottish culture – from tartan to Celtic FC, he’s pinned his colours to the mast. Now Sir Rod has realised a life-long dream – he’s got his own whisky.
The blended drink is called Wolfie’s, a 40% ABV drink that – so the press note says “is wonderfully balanced with flavours of warming cinnamon, fresh vanilla and baked apple.”
There’s a peaty aspect to the drink, while the oak spice suggests the impact of the lengthy maturation process.

Rod is delighted with the results, commenting:
“Wolfie’s is a rascal of a thing and with just a sip the whisky takes you back to the good old days. Fine-tuned and perfectly balanced, Wolfie’s is a delight both over ice and mixed into a favourite cocktail”.
He adds: “It’s a fine tipple, whether you’re partying with friends, celebrating a Celtic win or reminiscing with family. For me, Wolfie’s depicts the carefree behaviour of my more mischievous days and the excitement of what life still has to offer – let the good times roll!”
Wolfie’s will be available to buy online for £35 from June 19th – sign up online.
