The Cure singer Robert Smith has remixed his CHVRCHES collaboration 'How Not To Drown'.
The single is out now, the latest preview from the Scottish group's incoming album 'Screen Violence'.
Out on August 27th, CHVRCHES singer Lauren Mayberry revealed that the lyrics for 'How Not To Drown' discuss the only time she's ever wanted to leave the band.
“These lyrics are about a time when I just wanted to disappear, and the only time I ever thought about quitting the band. I felt like I was in over my head at the deep end and not sure how to get back,” she said. “But I did get back. And if you’ve felt like that, I hope you find your way back too. This is the chapter on what to do after they dig you up.”
Robert Smith added his inimitable vocals to the song, and he's now remixes 'How Not To Drown' into an immersive, ominous, seven minute journey.
