RLY Return With Glossy Pop Statement ‘Restroom Booth Confessions’

A celebration of femme energy...

Rising UK pop girl group RLY have shared new single ‘Restroom Booth Confessions’.

The five-piece have immaculate chemistry, honing their sound with a series of ultra-intimate shows at landmark London venues. CLASH hosted RLY at a special fan-only show in Metropolis Studios, while their headline shows have darted from Folklore to the legendary Troubadour.

Singles like ‘Safe & Sound’ and ‘Ring The Alarm’ have sketched out their approach, giving Millennial pop tropes a fresh twist. Out now, ‘Restroom Booth Confessions’ moves from glossy digi production to traces of UKG in the bouncy beat, making for something irresistible.

Lyrically, it’s a celebration of femme energy, with RLY toasting the hidden bonds that make a night-out glow. RLY comment…

We love this song! ‘Restroom Booth Confessions’ came about after we were voice noting each other memorable moments we’d had as a group. Most of the stories told – as you can hear in the lyrics – are about crazy nights out!

These stories become confessionals when you’ve had a few drinks and end up in the bathroom. Women are either queuing for the bathroom or piled into a cubicle together, laughing about hard things, crying about heartbreak, taking selfies that will never see the light of day and touching up your makeup. It feels like a confession booth doesn’t it? The restroom knows our secrets!

Tune in now.
