Riovaz Shares Pop Piledriver ‘Tell Me Your Fears’

House leaning production with future effects...

New Jersey riser Riovaz returns with new single ‘Tell Me Your Fears’.

The future-facing pop aesthete broke out with the viral success of ‘Prom Night’, his unstoppable 2020 single. Since then, he’s attempted to find focus, with a string of cuts building on that emphatic early promise.

New single ‘Tell Me Your Fears’ finds this unpredictable talent pivoting once more, absorbing house production into his challenging sonic framework. Lyrically, he’s playing on the gap between his experiences and disassociation, and – as per – love and romance also linger on the horizon.

“Saw the look in her eyes, she came here to dance,” he sings over pulsating electronics. “She looks so enchanting, I can’t deny.”

In a note to fans, Riovaz says: “This song captures my constant detachment from reality and the sudden reappearance of normalcy…”

The full video is online now, and it features a nod to a modern great of American cinema: “I had just watched Donnie Darko before making this song and video, so that film was the last piece of this puzzle.”

Tune in now.
