Brackles is set to take charge of the latest ‘Rinse Presents’ instalment on May 7th.
A child prodigy, Brackles first got behind the decks at age 15. Now closely associated with Rinse, the DJ hosts a weekly show as well as hooking up with the station’s in house record label. Responsible for last year’s ambitiously titled ‘Number One’ cut on Rinse, Brackles’ reputation as a producer is rising rapidly.
Now the beatsmith is set to steer the latest instalment of the ‘Rinse Presents’ series. An outlet for his own production, Brackles has gathered together a number of exclusive tracks – some of which you probably won’t have heard before.
Indebted to the rhythmic pulse of UK Funky, a lot of other influences feed into ‘Rinse Presents: Brackles’. The producer has a love for bass weight, while House textures are also a frequent presence.
A mixture of instrumental and vocal cuts, the new release contains an appearance from Funkystepz collaborator Lily McKenzie, while Terri Walker stops by on ‘DPMO’.
