Rilo Kiley have shared unreleased track 'Let Me Back In' – listen to it below.
An American indie rock institution, Rilo Kiley have spent the past decade ploughing their own furrow. Rather inactive of late, the Los Angeles outfit haven't released a studio album (proper) since 2007's 'Under The Blacklight'.
Seemingly, though, the band are in a generous mood. New album 'RKives' gathers a decade's worth of odds and ends, matching unfinished material to B-sides, early demos to tracks which simply didn't make the cut on their official releases.
Out on May 6th, Rilo Kiley have decided to give fans a preview. 'Let Me Back In' is a typically crisp piece of indie rock with a soulful vibe – listen to it at Spin.
Alongside this, the group are inviting fans to submit ideas for a video. Here's the blurb:
"we invite you to upload your favorite personal Rilo Kiley video clip, band footage, created animation, etc… whatever you have in moving pictures that you’d like to share with us. We will then view and choose among them to incorporate into the video. All submissions are due by March 5th. – Rilo Kiley"
