Global superstar Rihanna revealed four new tracks from her eagerly anticipated album ‘Loud’, at an intimate album playback in London’s West End last night.
The ‘Rude Boy’ singer played current offering ‘Not the Only Girl (In the World)’, as well as upcoming single ‘What’s My Name,’ a track boasting her signature holler and a notable Caribbean vibe.
Speaking on a recent visit to her Barbados homeland, the twenty-two-year-old said she sometimes doesn’t sleep for days. “There’s just too much to do! You want to go to your favourite restaurants, your favourite nightspots and see your favourite people, in such a short space of time.”
Rihanna showed her slinkier side with third song ‘S & M’, although urged us not to get too excited about the video. And followed shortly by ‘Drink to That/Cheers,’ dedicated to “all you semi-alcoholics or anyone who just likes to drink a lot on a Friday night,” when asked what her preferred tipple was, the fiery haired songstress replied “Whiskey and ginger for sure.”
Finishing the evening on a mellower note with epic ballad ‘California King (Bed)’, if last night is anything to go by, the Barbadian’s next album is set to be another gargantuan success.
