Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson and broadcasting legend Tony Blackburn are working on a new podcast.
The two entertainment figures will unite as Pop Detectives, an unlikely Sherlock 'n' Watson duo who will probe some of music's biggest mysteries.
Based above a takeaway on London's Holloway Road, the pair will guide listeners across eight episodes, tackling some burning issues along the way.
Amongst the mysteries scheduled to be unpicked are:
"Did Billy Bragg and the Manic Street Preachers really fall out over a toilet? Why did Gene Wilder follow Ricky Wilson on Twitter? Did Debbie Harry nearly get abducted by Ted Bundy? And was Avril Lavigne replaced by a lookalike in 2003?"
The eight-part series launches on January 28th, with each episode dropping on all major podcast platforms every Tuesday thereafter.
Produced by Globe Productions, Ricky Wilson and Tony Blackburn worked with Gareth Evans as producer, Geoff Lloyd and Will Nichols as Creative Producers and Marc Robinson as Executive Producer.
