One of rock's most iconic groups, Led Zeppelin have steadfastly turned down all offers for reform.
However the exact details have often gone unreported. According to the Mirror, a £500 million offer from Richard Branson was tabled but singer Robert Plant refused to take part.
The band performed in 2007 at the Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert in London's O2 Arena, with Jason Bonham filling in for his legendary father.
All three members of the group signed on for Richard Branson's lavish plans, but the frontman opted not to re-visit the past.
"They have tried to talk (Plant) round but there is no chance," a source said. "His mind is made up and that’s that."
"Jimmy, John and Jason signed up immediately. It was a no-brainer for them but Robert asked for 48 hours to think about it. When he said no and ripped up the paperwork he had been given, there was an enormous sense of shock."
