As festival re-constitutes budget...
Kahn

It seems that Azealia Banks' racist rantings have delivered another victim.

The American rapper was dropped from Born & Bred festival in London due to her outburst, but it appears that this move will have unforeseen ruptures for artists further down the bill.

Kahn has just posted on social media, explaining that his set alongside Neek will be cancelled as the festival needs to re-shape its budget.

The message reads:

“I was already appalled from afar by Azaelia Banks after all that ignorant bullshit last week and now, since she's been dropped from Born & Bred festival (where Neek and myself were meant to be performing), I've just been told that they've had to re-organise the whole budget and we've been dropped from the festival now too..”

Whilst it's clear that Born & Bred's stance was the principled one to take, and that such cancellations always have a follow-on effect, it's genuinely sad to see her twisted words continue to have an impact.

Born & Bred runs between June 4th - 5th.
