Reports are coming in that Ed Sheeran faces a new copyright case.

TMZ claims that the English songwriter has been sued over his 2014 song 'Thinking Out Loud', over similarities to Marvin Gaye's hit 'Let's Get It On'.

The single won two Grammy awards, but the family of 'Let's Get It On' co-writer Ed Townsend clearly believe that similarities between the two overlap a little too much for comfort.

Ed Sheeran currently faces a copyright infringement case over his hit 'Photograph'.
