Last night (October 27th) the noise rock aficionados Sleigh Bells made their return by treating fans to a one-off show at The Dome, Tufnell Park.
The pair are currently gearing up to the release of their fourth studio album ‘Jessica Rabbit’ due for release on November 11th through Lucky Number records.
Alexis Krauss informed the crowd of her nerves at playing her first London show in two years, but they were not visible as the pair blasted ferociously through each song old and new.
Sleigh Bells utilised the full range of their back catalogue in a set which included hard-hitters ‘Infinity Guitars’, ‘Demons’ and ‘Minnie’. Combining face melting guitar riffs and sonic pulsating rhythms that you can dance to, pure carnage ensued in the form of a raucous mosh pit and a causal stage dive by the front woman.
If the premiere of new single ‘I Can Only Stare’ is anything to go by Sleigh Bells, are back not only to destroy your ear drums but also the status quo – and they aren’t taking any prisoners.
