JAY-Z's decision to boycott Spotify could be costing him millions, a new report suggests.
The rapper recently released new album '4:44' but refused to allow Spotify streaming access.
As a result, JAY-Z is missing out in income – and if sources in Billboard are to be believed, this could run to several million dollars.
The title estimates that the hip-hop icon could be missing out on around $1 million per week, however another source argues that it could be a mere $250,000.
JAY-Z pulled his material from Spotify earlier this year, claiming that their approach de-values music – he does, of course, own stakes in competitor TIDAL.
The amount lost is small change to Hov, though, which is estimated to be worth around $810 million.
