Her new album is due next year...

Bold Salford songwriter Ren Harvieu returns with new single 'Teenage Mascara'.

Signing to Island Records as a teenager Ren enjoyed a Top Five debut album, before enduring a life-threatening injury.

Battling back, she's ready to release her first new material in seven years, signing to Bella Union in the process.

A new album is due in Spring 2020, with Ren Harvieu sharing her new single 'Teenage Mascara'.

A song about reinvention, it's both playful and utterly appropriate, with acclaimed photographer and film maker Rankin steering the video.

Ren says... "I see 'Teenage Mascara' as a dance between the many versions of ourselves. The woozy, dreamlike intoxication of the music helps swirl those emotions we sometimes have where we can go from feeling like sultry sex kittens to being bedridden with despair and greasy hair." "I think it’s important to celebrate it all, the sass through the tears, the vulnerability behind the make up."

Tune in now.
