Brighton's Klaus Says Buy The Record

The incredible Red Stripe Music Awards 2008 came to a joyous finish last night as Brighton's Klaus Says Buy The Record were announced as the victors.

The huge talent search saw over 200 bands play in venues around the UK with four finalists playing at the Grand Final in London. The other three finalists, Kiddo, O Fracas and The Down and Outs all demonstrated their promise and just why they were present at the Grand Final but Klaus Says Buy The Record won out on the night and we're awarded the prize which includes slots at The Great Escape, Blissfields and Lovebox Festivals and their very own tour van to get them there!

The evening was closed by Dirty Pretty Things in fine style with all agreeing that thanks to initiatives like the Red Stripe Music Awards, live music in the UK has never been healthier.
