Video emerges online

Red Hot Chili Peppers have posted the video for their track 'Brendan's Death Song' online.

Now a sprawling, disparate, tribal scene at one point the Los Angeles punk rock circuit amounted to precisely one venue. The Masque acted as a springboard to countless bands, including Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Granted their first major support slot by owner Brendan Mullen, Red Hot Chili Peppers maintained a close friendship with the promoter. Sadly passing away in 2009, his death sparked a new song from the band.

Taken from 'I'm With You', 'Brendan's Death Song' is a march style lament for the influential Los Angeles figure. Given the visual treatment, Red Hot Chili Peppers' music is matched to an evocative New Orleans style funeral procession.
