Online 'Venue' Launched

Most hard-working rock bands are already indebted to the good people at Red Bull. You can’t burn the midnight oil night after night without a regular boost along the way, and so the wing-giving beverage is invariably a popular item on any right-thinking rider.

Now the brand are taking a more direct involvement in the careers of budding young bands with the very 21st-century Bedroom Jam. Since September 2007 a dedicated online ‘venue’ ( has been encouraging performances by ambitious young bedroom performers and the ones receiving the most favourable responses are then given a livestream across the internet.

The project has evolved impressively recently with a proper, real, touchable stage popping up at various high-profile festivals, from Glastonbury to the Camden Crawl, which is giving the participating artists the sort of exposure they could only have dreamt about, back in those bedrooms.
