Red Axes Confirm New Album ‘One More City’

New single 'Kid Caffeine' is out now...

Red Axes will release new album ‘One More City’ on October 27th.

The Tel Aviv duo melt together aspects of post-punk, EBM and more straight-ahead dancefloor flavours, their approach recalling the likes of early DFA Records, Factory Floor, or those pivotal Optimo sets. There’s a strain of originality here, a kind of wot-do-you-call-it evasion of genre norms which makes them truly infectious.

New album ‘One More City’ lands on October 27th via fabric Originals, and it opens with all-new single ‘Kid Caffeine’. Thumping, luxuriant electronics with an analogue feel, Red Axes merge their production with a terrifically cathartic vocal from Clams Baker Jr (of Warmduscher infamy).

Red Axes comment…

“It’s a story that follows the twist in the life of the man who chases his own tail from city to city hoping to find the essence of life which is fame. We had the honour to work with the wonderful creature Clams, who wrote and sang this song.”

Tune in now.
